I purchased an electric blanket in June 2023 from Kohls. I have the online receipt if needed. I turning blanket off earlier & now it will not go back on. I have unplugged from electric as well as unplugging the actual blanket from the power cord. The controller will not light up on work. Biddeford Electric Heated Microplush Blanket TWIN, Gray White Check Quantity: 1 SKU #4415**** Item total: $54.99 UPDATE: They are sending me a new controller to see if that works. Ill let you know.

I have tried for a month to get in touch with the company both by phone (no answer, closed) and email. NO RESPONSE! I believe they have closed but can not verify that. I have searched the parent company and have not been able to find out anything. I believe that Micro Life is the parent company. They do not have a contact on their website

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The company is no longer in business. They have closed but I was able to reach someone who sent me a replacement

I finally found someone to answer the phone. This company has closed and is completely shut down.

The very nice person was so helpful and she said she would send me a replacement blanket today. Im sorry that they closed but grateful she answered the phone even though the company was closed.
I have been trying to reach your company for weeks. I have sent emails and tried to call your customer service number at least 50 times. It keeps telling me your business hours and that they are closed however each prompt I try no one answers the phone I have not received any information or contact from your company.

I do not have a sense of smell, and I was in bed one night when my husband walked in and was shocked to smell, burning electrical rubber smell in the house, and it turned out that the plug had melted into the blanket and was extremely hot to the touch. Since I couldnt smell, it had he not been home it may have started a fire, and the results would have been tragic. I only use this blanket to warm up the bed before I go to sleep. I do not leave it on overnight as it gets too warm for me.

My husband side of the bed had no trouble.

It is a king size dual control, electric blanket. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau who have not been able to reach you and I have filed a complaint with the federal consumer protection agency because this could be a huge safety risk and I would really like to talk to somebody.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I called and emailed Walmart, Deal Yard and Biddeford blankets. I never heard from Biddeford but Walmart couldn't get my money to me fast enough after I complained to every place I could think of

I bought a Biddeford micro plush electric heated warming throw blanket in blue cream plaid 2 months ago from Walmart.com. It stopped working completely.

It was also smaller than my other heated throw and thinner. I was never happy with it. For the price, I expected high quality. I went on Walmart.com and did a return.

I am handicapped so my husband went into the store to return it. He was given a receipt for $47.65. Then I got an email from Deal Yard that said their return window was closed, to talk to you. I called but you are closed today.

My sales order # 200011****10755, Item # 35392****. Deal Yard and Walmart have washed their hands of this blanket. It is only 2 months old and has not gone the test of time. I no longer have the blanket.

It is in Walmart's hands and I guess being shipped to you. I am not happy with you, Walmart or whatever Deal Yard is. All I wanted was a blanket to keep me warm and it did not.

My electric blanket got to hot, smelled like something was getting ready to burn. I have tried for 2 weeks to contact your customer service. Now I am going on line to try and resolve the issue. It looks like you do not stand behind your return policy. Due to the fact your customer service is non existent. Your complaint says for pissed customers. I wasn't upset until I had to deal with your system...very poor business ethics!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Called the phone number on the box 3 times.The third time I didn't push customer service but store ?A nice lady informed me they were closed and no warranty. She asked me a few questions and she said maybe she could send me a couple controls.Today I received 2 new electric throws !

Problem with the electronic blanket

Controller keeps switching to E after being turned on. After I reset the controller the problem remains. I notice by holding down the power button the controller remains on momentarily before switching to E. Problem seems to be in the power switch.

I bought a Biddeford electric blanket January 25, 2022. I keep it in my spare bedroom which should get used very little and it is not working. It is for a full size standard bed. I can send a copy of the receipt the model number on it is, 0BP02 . It was bought at Walmart. A replacement color of tan or gray would be great.

Broken Controller

Bought the heating mattress pad cover on Dec 2, 2023. hooked it up and both controllers worked for 1 day.

the next day the second controller started blinking. I called customer service - recording says hey are closed. Tried a few more times on different days- Customer service still says closed. Tried to get on the website- link failed.

Has this company gone out of business? They still have products on the shelves in stores here In Michigan. The store owners should be notified to pull products.

I see now many reviews of broken controller. bad customer service etc.Only gave 1 star because zero stars was not an option

My husband bought me Model: OTH tracking: Y171HD445**** I havent used it that much but it quit working altogether. Ive tried plugging it in to various plugins etc.The plugin from cord to blanket appears to disconnect frequently. Bad design? Love the soft blanket but I bought it for warmth in the winter

I also have been calling customer service they say they're closed. Now mind you it worked fine for 2 months Then the blanket just stopped working we did everything we un plugged it we turned in up side down side way anything you could do to try to make this thing to work again well waste 2 days trying to get it to work then decide JCPenney to get in touch the 60-day warranty was gone JCPenney's won't honor it. From where was purchased this is totally ridiculous if they're not going to have products that can go beyond 2 months that you pay a ridiculous amount of money $$ for then they should be closed gosh get it

I purchased this blanket a year ago. Had it safely stored on the top shelf in case the winter gets cold here in Florida.

It did so I found the box cut it opened and to my surprise at first it had a strong smell, but then it turned off. It didn't work at all. Customer service sucks and by reading the comments this company needs to be reported. I've tried calling, no dice.

They just hang up the phone. please call when we are open between 10am and 6pm. I called on A Monday at 3pm. I've tried emailing them, but I get an error message.

"There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later." This company is not worth buying blankets from, will look at the reviews for other electrical blankets companies.

Biddeford is not good, they have tarnished their name. The betterbusiness bureau needs to investigate this company NOW!!!

Warranty Defective Blanket controller

I have a Biddeford Comfort Knit Natural Sherpa Electric Heated Blanket Twin Natural purchased Nov 29, 2020 from Amazon and the controller does not turn on any longer. I've checked the outlet plug and tried unplugging/plugging in the controller from the blanket and its still dead like Elvis.

It used to light up until last week even if it got unplugged from the blanket.

Now it does nothing. The controller model # is TC11BA Lot No 250***-*B. I can submit pictures and receipt if necessary.

Please send out replacement controller Biddeford Blankets' products are warranted for five years. This warranty covers the controller,

cords, and the blanket itself.
