If you have unplugged both ends and replugged them in could be your actual blanket has short in it. Contact customer service for 5 year warranty

by #2009528

The "E" is an Error message. Unplug the controller and then plug it in again. Hopefully it will reset the controller. If it still comes back with the "E", then the controller is bad and needs replaced. Call customer service number to get a return authorization.

Can I buy a replacement cord and controller for my Biddeford throw? I didn’t register for the warranty. The first one I bought in 2018 had a digital control that stopped working.

Model OTJ, tracking number R187G J446**** I bought another at Walmart this fall , Model O T G, tracking number: V146HE444**** and the control just stopped working on that one too I really like the blankets, but am very frustrated that I can’t get even the new one to work. It just suddenly stopped yesterday evening for no apparent reason. Unfortunately I didn’t see any information on the packaging to indicate a warranty that needed to be registered.

As a widow on Social Security Disability, I can’t afford to just go out and keep buying replacements. I keep my thermostat set at 64 degrees to save money and these throws are the only way I can be at all comfortable during the winter months.
